Good therapy is not about loyalty to a theory, but responsiveness to the person.
— Paul Wachtel

I draw on a range of evidence-based psychological methods, tailored to each person’s needs, to achieve deep, lasting change. These include:

  • Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) – learning to live meaningfully alongside difficult thoughts and feelings.

  • Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) – practical tools for changing unhelpful thoughts and behaviours.

  • Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) skills – building resilience, emotional balance, and stronger relationships.

  • Hypnotherapy – using focused attention and relaxation to support change at a deeper level.

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS) – working with different “parts” of the self to create harmony and healing.

  • Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP) – practical strategies for shifting patterns in thinking, behaviour, and communication.

  • Schema Therapy – addressing deep-rooted patterns from early experiences.

  • Trauma-focused therapies – including EMDR and trauma-focused CBT.

We will work together to understand what is happening for you, draw on the approaches that best fit your needs, and focus on changes that feel meaningful, realistic, and sustainable.
